cancel the file space01.pt_ or whatever is named from the temporary directory (it's hidden) and download again all (it will download just that file).
Hope it works.

Tried it 4 times. It does download the space01.pt_ file again and still keep getting the error 13. What is a .ptb file do?

I am trying this on my work computer and it doesn't have any speakers hooked up (there is a sound card), could that have anything to do? It is part of the Gfx folder so I suspect it is graphix related. This computer is optimized for AutoCad.

Help anyone. Thanks

I need help debugging this problem. If there is anyone who has yet to try and install last nights build of GalCiv I need your help.

Basically I need two things:

1) in your system TEMP directory may have a drengin\gc1\gfx\Space01.pt_ file. Can you email that file too me. ([email protected])

2) Can you run drengin.exe with the paramager DEBUG (ie: drengin.exe DEBUG) and try to install GalCiv again. If it fails please send me the debug.err file that is located in \program files\drengin.net
Also, after it fails can you make a copy of the Space01.pt_ file that is in your temp directory and send it as well. I would like to compare the differences in the files.

Any help is appreciated.

John, if you can run Drengin with the debug parameter can you send me your debug.err file in the drengin.net directory.

I just emailed the two files (space01.pt_ & debug.err). Hope they help. If there is anything else I can do, please let me know. Thanks.

Hey John,

Two ways you can do it. Either from a command line or by modifying your shorcut parameters.

1: Command line. Navigate to the directory where Drengin is installed and simply type "loader debug" and hit enter

2: Modify shortcut: Right click on the shortcut for the Drengin and change your target directory to be similar to this:

"C:\Program Files\Drengin.net\loader.exe" debug

(Side Note: Running loader.exe or drengin.exe will get me the same results. Loader is basically used to just auto update the Game Manager)

Ok. Unfortunately I have not found the bug yet. But I am taking a stab in the dark as its the weekend. If someone is still having the problem please download the following updated drengin.exe file and replace your existing file. Let me know if this corrects the problem.

Hi John,

Unfortunately I never received your email. What version of Windows are you running?

I think you were right. As the file in question is a zero byte, windows 98 cannot uncompress. I had this happen another time couple of years ago with some autocad documentation. Don't remember the fix then, but your fix of just eliminating the file has worked. Thanks for the work. Let me know if there is anything else.
