Could you add a third option to the tech victory poll?
"Sort of, game does not end when AI reaches Beyond AI, but you are informed of the milestone and Metaverse score is substantially lower if AI reaches it before you win"

Let the aliens transcend, and leave their rich planets sitting there with all improvements, a reduction to the metaverse score, and the ability to continue playing as normal with one less alien race per tech victory. After all, they are still doing their own thing and enjoying your worlds AFTER you achieve a tech victory, and are free to follow you, so let us have the same option. Just notify us when it happens so I can send my transports in to colonize!

Why have a tech victory being a research item? Why not make Final Fromteir give you an Trancendance trade good, so there would be a benifit to assalting the planet that is making it. Players could be notified which planet is building it.
