The path of "the light interface"

I was wondering what the benifits of choose to go the nice guy route are. I always when evil simply 'cause when given the choice between +23 or -23 planet quality, I would think most people would go with +23. So just to see I have been going the nice guy route for all of the game so far, and I have not seen any benifit what-so-ever. Could someone fill me in.

If you played "good" for benefits, then it really wouldn't be "good", would it?

Role-play. Play at a disadvantage just because you're a nice guy.

LOL, I know, I have been RPing, that is why I another reason I go with bad ;) It takes a real stretch for be to play a good guy in any Rp game. If I do in most cases it just to see "what will happen if...". For the most part that is what I was doing now.

Uhoh. I had thought that going the good route that there would be some added value to be making these selections. Most of the time, these good-guy choices are certainly not as valuable as their bad-guy counterparts. And if the only benefit is that you get along better with the good guys diplomatically, that's pretty weak.

That's exactly what an evil gamer would say! LOL

The game is very winnable, but a little more difficult, if you don't make any evil choices. It all boils down to if you want to role-play or not.

Exactly.. being eyyyvl just for the sake of it because it gives you more benefits is um.. well, evil! It is harder by far to be a good guy. There *are* good techs tho.. so it is not without reward. Also, your allies seem to be stauncher allies by far. The Drengin make poor friends. LOL
