Did you ever think about this. Everybody has a different pattern of finger prints , DNA ( not completly) and iris layout. Where in the evolution did that come from ?Did man have any use of that before someone did a crime ? Dont believe that GOD thought about that, dont believe in him/here period !
BUT if we are parts of a gigantic software program...............................
Did Douglas Adams know more than he told us ?
Is it DEEP THOUGHT that created the human race ?

Whence came the DNA?
I do know that the DNA of all mankind was drastically narrowed by the eruption of Mt. Toba about 75,000 years ago, nearly causing the extinction of all homo-sapiens. I don't think Adams had an inkling of the "Matrix", though, his idea of flying by throwing yourself at the ground and missing was thought provoking. Odd that you have an easier ability to believe in a divine computer program than you do a divine god. I can say this, if God is a computer program, then he cannot have been developed by Microsoft, if he were, we would all be governed by a President who is as dull-witted as Algernon before the drugs. Of course, now that I think about it, perhaps a few pre-historic ancestors got thier genes from the shallow end of the pool and one of the decendants ran for president, while many other decendants who were in the part of Pangea that became Florida, voted for him. Talk about some garbage computer code that would cause that.....er, maybe Microsoft is God after all.

Fits him aswell "a few pre-historic ancestors got thier genes from the shallow end of the pool " Guess our prime ministers ancestors came from the part were you are not quite shure if its water or land..
