Ok.. I give up!!!! How do I update my game now???????????????????

from Stardock Forums
I go away for a few weeks and now when I go to Stardock Central(The exacet place I used to go to update my game) all I get is the Stardock home page crap and every link I try will not take me to the place I used to go to update my game.. Could someone pleaee let me know where it is I go now to update????? And Why did you change it??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? >:( >:(

I'm fairly certain you need to press the Software button at the top of the screen, and then click on the Drengin.net tab that shows up in the main view. Then, if an update is availible, it'll say next to the Galactic Civilizations item if you select it. :notsure:

Thanks!!! No not for me... In tha past, it always went to the Drengin page... I had neve even seen the Stardock home page... They changed something!!!!

They didn't change anything. For some reason the focus is not always saved properly between sessions. In this case, it launched in its browser mode.

For the record, SDC has a newsreader, Stardock forum reader, and web browser built in along with the software updater.

Yup, that startled me the first time too. Most of the time I get taken to the update page, sometimes I get into the browser and have to hit the software link. No real rhyme or reason to it.

If you checked the "history" of any update and close SDC without going back to the software tab, it will just open up in the browser next time it launches.
