Technology Victory Poll and Implications

Please, if the technology victory is enabled for the computer, at least let there be an option where the human player can disable it only for the computer. I don't want to have to deal with a computer that can see the whole galaxy at the start of the game -and- can zap me by evolving to a higher being. Plus, if humans evolved to higher beings, wouldn't that mean that they would no longer need to worry about the aliens, and would just leave them alone or some such thing? That would be my thought.

As an aside, if you don't give us the option to turn it off in-game, at least make there be a way to edit it out in the rules files.

I'm personally hoping it's not added, or if it is added, as an option to be enabled. It should not be the default behavior for the game as it really violates the spirit of the game in my mind.
