Pink Star system

I've played the game only a few of times. But I think on Gigantic, there is always one star system which is 'pink'. Is this a special star system?

Yes, there is a color better than yellow. It looks more like purple than pink to me, but if you see one, it always has a nice planet or two. You can also find blue stars with some slightly sub par planets around them, too.

Those purple systems aren't always the greatest, they can be worthless too, but yes sometimes they have very nice planets.

A yellow system is always good though.

Every other system can contain 15+ planets, but you have to be lucky to.

Purple stars have very high influence, not necessarily good planets.

Very useful for cultural victories.

I had a game in which *Sol* was purple!
Perhaps a side-effect of early experiments with the jump drive, perhaps...

Perhaps you were lucky? :/ Yes I too have found some of those systems, and once a computer settled it which right away put away my suspecions AI was only smart enough to colonize yellow systems :/
