Overlord invisible?

In my last game I was finally able to build an Overlord (will be paying for it for another 2560 months) and I noticed that he doesn't have an icon in orbite, or a picture to see him in space. When I got him selected there is only the blue circle of selection around him.

I noticed a similar thing with Terror stars when they are being build, the starbase doesn't show up again until completely build.

Is this me or is this a known issue?

My version is the latest, upgraded true stardock

Known issue. Save the game, exit out, reload. It comes back. I've had it happen to Avatars and Dreadnauts, but not often.
