score doesn't register in metaverse

Track down some threads on this, one person had a pretty detailed description of a problem they had when they registered with Drengin net and the serial number conflicted with their original one. This sounds like the same problem. Can't remember the exact thread title, but it should be somewhere in the last 2-4 days worth of threads.

I had the same problem until someone pointed out I should use my Drengin.net serial for Metaverse. Go to the Metaverse site and click the "Register your player" link. Chances are your GalCiv serial is still there.

I'm not sure re-submitting the score will work after changing the serials.

Ah ha! Sure enough. Too bad it gets rid of all my old scores though... Ah well...

AStoot, I have a similar problem for not being able to submit recently and I see no other problem in my case than using some library mods like smuggling tech. I nevet got an straight answer about this, though it seems that "sealed & approved" by Stardock is required in order to use light mods for submission - and only one is approved right now. It may be that if you used recently a library mod. If not, then it may be your serial number.

I use the smuggling mod and all the mods by Nephrinn and have never had any problems submitting a game except for one time, when I milked a game and it eventually became corrupted so that the metaverse wouldn't accept it. But that wasn't mod related.

errr..., can you tell me then what to do in order to avoid a game file to be corrupted or is it something out of hand and occasionally random?????

I just changed the key on the metaverse site to be the drengin.net key. I only use the stuff from the stardock downloads, so I can't comment on the other mods.
