Feature Request: Ask before attacking while on autopilot

Does anyone else thing that it might be nice if your ships would ask you before automatically attacking a ship that is in their path?

That would be very nice indeed. I've had ships crashing into starbases when sending them to a rally point.
Managing all those ships manually every turn is too tedious.

Well, my ships do ask before starting a war. I take it you mean ask before attacking someone you are already at war with? I guess that would be nice, yeah...

Agreed. It's happened to me more than once where, while I won, my ship was weakened enough to then not be bale to perform the mission I had designed for it at the end of its auto-route.
