Cringe in fear do gooders. The G.R.O.S.S. (Get Rid Of Slimy alienS) empire is now formed. In less than an hour we have jumped 95 other Pacifist Doo Gooder victim empires and lept into 40th out of 135 ranked.

We are an evil empire bent on controlling everything and showing all the other empires out there who's boss. US. Are you listening Euro-"Oh lets let everyone be a senator and give em a vote doo gooder democracy alliance?" We come for you.

For a limited time, (untill I decide otherwise) 5 Pure Evil games, (or just impressing me with your game evilness) submitted will get you a Senatorship. Later, being the evil empire pyramid scheme we are, it will take 10. Of course, being the evil empire we are, that gives you no benefits, no pay, but all the alien carnage you crave most.

Now we do realize that sometimes, you just have to fake being good. You sometimes just have to infiltrate that pacifist party. We understand. But we aren't a kinder gentler empire and don't let their pacifism go to your head. And just sometimes, you gotta let the Aliens live (where else would you find slaves for the heavy metal lava mines?)

In the future, we shall update each other in the empire via this thread, brag of our conquests, drink blood wine, and generally just poke fun (creatively and humorously) at those players whom we find to be too goody goodyish.

LMAO hilarious. I got Battleships, but instead of smashing the Arceans myself, I sold em a bunch of stuff long term and bankrupted them. They then couldn't pay the Drengin their tribute, got into a war, and had to surrender, to the Yor. Which freed up those influence resources quite nicely. Didn't have to fire a shot. And since their planet is under my influence and way away from any yor space, it's now got that skull and cross bones on it. wooohoo.

Gu's I was really happy...just had my 1st 1,000+ point game.....but then I find that my toal score has only gone up to 776 wtf???. It shows in the game summary as 1132 points but my ranking total has just gone from 150 to 776.

Is this right?. I want my point for the gloriously evil empire!!.

All that translated... We own the MWC no matter the score. We absolutely own them. We are their obsession. But they are our possession. LMAO.

I also find it hilarious they use manifest desiny which was an eastern academic doctrine at the time. It wasn't all that well known on the frontier.

Wonder if Sammy Sosa is an example of that "Midwestern Confederation. Spirit"??

Dont have a calculator Welshman but looks about right.

95+118 are old version scores that were adjusted once the new algorithm came out. What you may have had as your scores for those games is now gone.

The 1132 is the new version

That's (95+118+1132) The sum is then divided by the square root of your games played. In this case the square root of 3. So it looks about right. :)

Just keep those 1132s coming or even more and you'll be fine :)


A little game hint. Turn off your cultural conquest option in your game win scenario. Then continue like you were before. When the last planet flips, or you take it by force you'll get a military conquest win and even more points. It takes a little more time but it's worth it.

Oh well we dropped to 3rd. Check this out. Player kryofx. Friggin 8000 point games on normal. That sounds like a bad scoring glitch to me. Shoot if that's all it takes why play painful?

Ground assault? Aye, boss! This is still best done up close and personal.

That's ok. Just one -50% productivity bonus kicked me back up to neutral... Now trading away. Hopefully I can submit this thing tomorrow.

Yea, mitresoft is basicily useless to purchase wonders
in the early game. As it should be, its still usefull
to purchase in the mid-late game to purchase
wonders, emergency warships and terraformering.

Its slightly cheaper to just outright buy it cash down,
and I am using that quite abit more often.

I just lost a quickie :)

A small where I quickly eliminated the alterians and
had 1/3 of the systems. Unfortantly the torians had
another 1/3 and hated my guts, when the dregin(who had
90% of the remaining 3rd) joined them it quickly
became clear that this wasnt gonna be a victory for
G.R.O.S.S. The other 2 civs found themselves isolated
to 1 and 2 systems each.

Will save it out for a later day when I feel like
dying :)

I dont think ill be submitting another game today. :(
