Utopia Prime Master Skin Dream

Thought I would give everyone a preview of my next Master Skin. The planet spins while the blue nebula whips around the planet. I've always been a big fan of the blue background and this fits the bill nicely. It also makes a nice wallpaper :)

UPDATED 2/26/08: I've updated the image and animated preview to the latest render. The preview is only a partial render so it doesn't loop. I've also created a Login Studio Skin and my first wallpaper submission. The final product will be 1172x1120 25fps and 4 minutes long to produce a slowly rotating planet and nebula effect. After this has been released, I plan on using my new mpeg-2 skills to re-rendering Good Night Earth to try and make it 4 minutes long so that it will rotate 1/2 the speed it does now.

Frankly, I would have made up a story about the floating hand, something dealing with the hand of the creator! ;)

The idea is that this would be a great place to live if every night you could look up at the night sky and see a blue light show.

Not sure what you mean? I took this video while orbiting the planet last Christmas Eve. Got a great deal on tickets from my buddy Zorgfsdtgs.

I'm reworking the blue nebula and trying to see if I can squeeze it into to a 4 minute video and still keep the 1172x1120. I'm hoping that it will be ready in no more that a week.
