Problem with getting mods to work

How long have you waited? Your comp decently fast? I get a pause after I enable my mod (which actually does the exact opposite of what you want lol, I sped it up). At first I thought it froze, but after a few seconds, it started going again.

Ive waited 10 mins...i have a decent computer and when i goto the task manager it says that sins is not responding which to me means...its crashed

Alright, just had to ask. I've seen programs with that status in the taskmgr, and still recover because the system is busy or whatever. Is this a mod of your own making or someone else's?

The rule 3 rules of Modding: Check, double check, and triple check everything.

Make sure all your 'Count' numbers are correct, no typos you've missed, all the files names match up with their paths. If not, start again. Do everything very slowly and apply the 3 rules on every change you make. Good luck...

This is the redion mod and the other slowgame mod from the download section...not my own

My problem is after playing a game with a mod, and saving the game.. when I reload the saved game it seems to start okay..but I cannot zoom all the way into the planet to show assests (ships ect.), and the ships themselves do not seem to show up at all (when I double click)

will start new games and try some different stuff (saveing, reloading with and without useing mod..trying different mods)

but wondering if anyone else has seen problems like this..very dissapointing, I had an awesome game going lol

Fixed this by un-installing mod in game mod options, then reslecting to use mod..that seemed to fix the issues
