Systems of War

Once again I might be being a noob here... but...

I am playing the systems of war map finding I have contol of one solar system to myself which is a nice change... however.. "here comes the stupid question".... how the hell do I get out of that system and travel to the others.... I have no wormholes connecting me to anywhere else....

Thanks in advance for your help...

I had a similar question last night - turns out there's a research option to allow interstellar jumps, or at least there was for TEC, I'm assuming it's the same for the other factions.

As above, you need to research inter-stellar travel.

Takes 4 civic research stations IIRC (for TEC anyway). One less than for wormhole travel. Jumps between stars can take quit a while, but the stars are incredibly close together in systems of war, so it's a really short trip - takes much less time than some intra-system jumps.

By the way, systems of war is just a great map, isn't it?

I'll tell you when I have actually seen more of it than just my system lol.

Apparently had already trained it lol, am sure I tried to jump to another system earlier but hey ho... is working now....

And yes, is fun so far, just need to get rid of the pesky pirates. Central system seems busy, not been to the other systems that the races start in yet.

I'm playing that same map now, too. I started by taking over other player's starting systems, and now I'm focusing on the central system. End is not even close...

Research"long range phase jumps" or something like that. The infocard will say"allows phase jumps to distant star systems.
