resolution will not change

Having a problem. Bought the game, installed it, and whenever it try's to run my whole screen resolution goes wierd, almost like the game is trying to run on a widescreen monitor or something. To click on any button, I need to be pretty much on the other side of the screen, and run the game in windowed mode just so I can move it around and see whats on the screen. Changing the resolution in or out of the game did nothing. What is wrong? some kind of strange driver issue or what?

I had the same issue before I installed the patch but did something (can't remember what I did) and it fixed it. Now that I installed the patch, it is back to doing the same stretched screen in full screen mode and I can't fix it. Help would be appreciated.

To recap - you are having an issue with the screen image being stretched?

What video card are you using, what version of directx, have you run the directx diagnostics - winkey + r then type dxdiag - run all the graphics options.

How old are your video drivers - right click on the my computer icon - go to properties,, then navigate to device manager, find your card and go to the drivers tab - check the date.

What type of monitor are you playing on? What resolution is it by default?

The more info you give the more helpful the community can be.

My anti-aliasing was on "2 samples" and I switched it to none and it fixed my stretched screen problem.
