Deskscapes for Vista Premium

I have Dreamscene installed on Vista Home Premium (found a hack). It works fine, but I would love to be able to install Deskscapes. I realize you could not guarantee it would work with what I have, but I would like to try. Is there a way to get past the 'Vita Ultimate' check in your installer?

...you're asking Stardock to tell you how to further circumvent one of their partners' terms of service?

Good luck!

Oops! I just started looking at this stuff yesterday. I was not aware they are a business partner.

As each day goes by I understand a lot better why folks like Frogboy get very upset. (:(

Gold certefied partners, not bussiness partners.

And your point is what?  That it is more or less wrong?

Circumventing the requirements of DreamScene would technically be classified as warez, as it's not designed to run on anything but Vista Ultimate.

Your best bet would be to uninstall whatever "hack" you used, and wait for DeskScapes 2.0 which won't require Vista Ultimate.

Object Desktop Subscribers like me and alot of other people on this forum, get the beta for all versions already. (and it runs very good on premium)

Ugh... It is supposed to be released in February.

However, Stardock doesn't exactly meet their deadlines. DesktopX 3.5 was supposed to be release in September of 2007.

Thank MS Vista's unique "security" for that.
