View Issue -- Would Very Much Appreciate a Reply

I played the game in the standard/fresh-from-download view for two days and LOVED the game.  Today when I loaded up my saved game, the view had somehow changed to what I can best describe as a sideways view.  I am having a really hard time playing in this view.  I have tried for 30 minutes to change the view back to how it was when I first installed the game, but I can't figure out how.  It may sound silly, but it's turned from an incredibly enjoyable game to one that I can't really play in the new view.  Can someone please help?

I'm not exactly sure what you mean, did you try holding down the right mouse button and rotating the camera until it's exactly how you want it?

Please post screenshots if you can so we can see what you mean, if camera rotation isn't the issue.

I feel foolish for not knowing about that right mouse button thing, but I feel a lot better now that I can play the game again. Thanks for the help.

Not a problem :)

I'm not sure if there's a tutorial on the camera, but it's quite nifty - you can also use the Z, X, C keys for some preset zoom levels so you don't always have to use the mouse wheel.

I kinda wish planets could be spaced out more on the Z axis of the map. Would make this kinda thinking really interesting :D
