Wait - so my AI ally in 2x2 attacked me?

I'll get over it... but I was genuinely surprised. I thought it was a 2x2 game...

So, in reality, 2x2 is FFA, just that you start with an ally? Does the same apply to mp? And seeing as there seems to be no downside to ending an alliance, what's the actual difference?

Any guidance much appreciated.

(Loving this game, but ak - it's bad for my sleep life!)

If you didn't, your ally was clearly seduced.
But if you did, I have absolutely no idea.
