Hello,

      I just picked up SoaSE and so far I have liked the game, however I have not played online yet becasue my computer died......so I figuered as I wait for it be get healthy again, I'd ask a few questions, see what you views are. If you don't mind... :CONGRAT: 

 

First-I tend to have a problum of getting one source of income IE; I have 6k metal, 75-100 crystal or vise versa. So then I turn to the black market and buy a stack of 100 for like 1k credits...so I never seem to have enough of one Mat..That then leads to me having a ton of down time and waiting around for some creditis

 

As for combat, I have just been grouping all my ships under the create-a-fleet button and attacking, doing some FF when need be....what I would like to try to do is make specifc groups (IE a Fast attack group, a heavy attack group, planet seige group) Do you think that would be fisable?

1. You will often have too much of one resource - just look on the map for areas where you can get more of what you need, and invade that. Otherwise, yeah, black market, as much as that hurts. Try getting lots of trade ports for more money, and if you are strong in one resource, sell some of it to buy the other.

2. Groups work quite well, yeah. Ships tend to have a favoured target, so having different ship types in different groups makes focus firing a lot easier.
