map designer

every time i try to use the map designer it wont save...i get all the settings where i want them...rename it. Yet when i click save nothing happens..i can click save till im blue in the face. Anyone else have this problem?

If this is for Galaxy Forge, I had the same problems.
I worked around it by saving to my Desktop, (which it then actually saved) and manually moved it to the Galaxies folder.

Windows -- specifically Vista -- likes to "protect" the program files directory from unauthorized access. Alas, end-users (you, me, the guy behind the monitor) do not qualify as authorized access as far as windows is concerned, so it will refuse to do stuff there.

There are ways around it... but its a pain in the rear!
