Skins Made From I.R. Braniac's No Load Limit Graphics

Skins Made From I.R. Braniac's No Load Limit Graphics

So being that I.R. was gracious enough to give his graphics to the community. Figured I'd start a thread to see what people are working on with them.

Myself so far I generally try making my own OD bgs and Xion skins.

Figuring that WebGizmos and messiah1 would probably jump right on the OD bgs (and do a much better job at them), I decided to do a Xion skin.  So here is what I have so far:

Photobucket" align="baseline" />

And I have alot more to do to it.

As always criticism is welcomed.

Thanks to I.R. for letting us all take a crack at using his graphics.

Cant wait to see what other people are working on.

Ha ha, This has got to be killing IR. Being the perfectionist that he is.( You can tell that in his skins.)
But really, thanks IR. Even though I have no time to play with it, it has shown me more of how to skin something right than any book has. :CONGRAT:

where's this graphics section to see what I might use?

lol yeah I think I'd go to the graphics library and get the graphic packs that I.R. has uploaded and work from those.

Working from my screenshot of an idea(one I've done away with at that) is really a bad idea.

;)

And as for me.

I'm still working on a Xion its just one of those things that I want to be done just right.

So I get easily aggravated with what I'm trying to do and put it away and work on something else until I'm not annoyed by it anymore and then give it another shot. ;p

Messiah is correct...working from screenies is tough, you cant do much with them and they have already been compressed so the image quality isnt pristine.

The psd's are more fun. ;)

Thanks guys for the links, help & advice - I have 4 different ideas now I am working on.
This is one.

the others are a white, a brushed steel and a blue brushed with different patterns...
Same idea though.
Let me know what you think, and when we can start uploading to the site.
This one I have already in 3 sizes ready to go if approved.
Thanks again,

Not trying to be a jerk here but I would think it would be better to try and use the graphics to format the wallpaper itself rather than creating a wallpaper and then just laying the graphics around on top of it.  ;)

And just a thought but I think the broken chain kind of goes against the No Load Limit concept

Still working on the Xion in post 17 but doing the animations without distorting the graphics is taking alot of patience. Something I'm sometimes short on. ;)

But after seeing the walls that I.R. released today I decided to take another idea I had also worked on for Xion and make it so it was specifically for use with the NLL wallpapers.

I took two screenshots and pieced them together for this shot.

The blue/white pattern around the player is actually an animation that flashes between the colors.

The nut slider at the top is because I'm debating whether to use that or the gold color in the bottom slider.

And the word close and the glow on one button are obviously a mouseover effect.

I plan on putting a mute button on the right hand side to match the volume arrows on the left.

Any thoughts/criticisms/ideas are welcomed.

Pahau everything in that screenshot, the parts that are in the wall that I.R. made and the parts in the Xion player that I'm making from I.R.'s graphics, are almost all in the three downloads available in the graphics section on Wincustomize.

thanks bilbo. :D

Busy man...haha...I think I like the one just under the word No the best...looks like it was part of the wall. :)

Well that's why I put buttons for all animations so anyone who uses it could choose the look they like best. ;)

Now if only it would make it through moderation :p

Oh and messiah, may not be quite what you were thinking but I did get that function in. ;)

Figures I pick a day when noone is moderating Xion to upload :NOTSURE:
