Story missions/Other observations

Will there be an expansion with a major story driven mission game that each of the three factions can play? I was disappointed that there was not one.

Missions: The missions that the other factions "gave" you were annoying especially since you could not "accept" or "refuse" them without consiquences, also allies often break their alliance which is really annoying, I want to have atleast one permanent ally.

Culture: This has great potential I hope it gets improved.

Sides: I hope they allow you to play as the pirates in future games, where you can shoose to remain a pirate band or make an empire of your own.

Dead planets/"space rocks" I think there definetly needs to be a research option that allows population to be placed there.

Overall its a really good game!

As for the "story driven mission game," i believe that it was stardock's intention for you to make up your own story with Sins. They gave you the backstory and history, and it is your job to go ahead and figure out what happens.

As for the missions, yes, they are kinda linear and not being able to refuse them is annoying as hell, but if you think about it, refusing is kind of the same thing as ignoring, lol. If you refused, it would about piss them off as much as if you ignored them, right? just speculation. And if you want to keep allies, lock the teams.

If you want to play as the pirates, there is a mod out there that lets you. Go look in the modding section of the forums and it is one of the more popular ones.

I...think...that you CAN colonize dead asteroids....i think...i thought...but you just can't use any logistics slots. I may be wrong on that one. It's been almost five minutes since i last played, lol.

lastly, yes, you are right, overall, it is a really good game. I would go so far as to call it an extremely well made and thought out strategic artform, lol.
