Yor invaded my planet without any war declaration

The Yor invaded one of my plates during my last game.

Our relations were "warm" and they did not declare war. Neither before the raid nor after it.

Do I have to declare war on my own?
In all of my other games the enemy declared war to me, or the war was automatically declared...

This happened during a challenging game with the krynn, beta 96b006

The only times I've seen that happen was when you had just recently flipped a planet with influence or just colonized it. If the planet you flipped was their war enemy or if their war enemy had a colony ship in route to that planet it seems to not re-check the destination's owner.

Good for them!! Usually they give you a turns warning to stop them...

(although it's probably just a lucky bug for them, because you should eventually get the notification...)
