Take-Two Interactive just wanted to point out to everyone that Electronic Arts is not the only company interested in them. Currently, the maker of Grand Theft Auto (and numerous other titles) is not in any kind of merger talks, or even received any formal offers from interested parties but since Electronic Arts offered to buy Take-Two earlier this week, the publisher has received "informal indications of interest in a business combination," according to a statement they made with the Securities Exchange Commission.
Although it may sound like the company is boasting about their recent popularity, the disclosure of such information is required ahead of the company's annual shareholder meeting which will take place on April 10.
