HELP

from Sins Forums

Hey there. Kind of having trouble with getting the mods working. Looked at quite a few posts and they all say the same but it doesnt work for me. they all say on xp(which i have) go to

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Mods

But i do not have that in mine. I go to C:\Documents and Settings\username\ and the only options i have are Cookies,Desktop,Favourites,My Documents,Start Menu and UserData. I went into UserData to see if that was it and there was only 4 empty folders with random letters and numbers as names as well as an index file that wont open. Could someone please tell me what im doing wrong as i would very much like to use a mod.

did u register it and get the latest version or are u like me and bought it at walmart and it wont let u register?

Yeah i registered. I actually got it over the web because they dont sell it in Ireland X-(  . But its really annoying as there is a lot of good mods out there.

Yeah i downloaded v1.02 yesterday. I installed it after i downoaded it.

Those directories are hidden by default. To unhide them, go to your Control Panel -> Folder Options -> View and set yourself to view hidden files and folders.
