thanks, i'll let you know when we get up to that part. right now it's not at the top of the list of priorities. events come once the main bulk of the mod is finished. I'll let you know if we can use you for that later on. if you want to help out in some other way, just give me a list of your modding skills and i'll let you know what we can use you for,
Dave.

actualy yes I do I wasint sure if your using ships or space navy's because I saw your screen shots and didint know what you where using.Because I made 10 types of space planes, and 10 types of star ships.
we're using all three, planes, starships, and navies. Edladner (on i-mod) has been making or acquiring all the models so far and i've just started trying to texture them. the model i'm working on now looks pretty good but i don't know how to convert or export the textures!

P.S.
it's easier to reach me at I-Mod or my wiki (on the chat page)than on the GC2 site.

you can drag the textures onto the model itself its the quick and dirty way to texture ships. Its not perfect but it works.

you should probably search google for some 3d modeling tutorials. i don't know of a good one offhand but i'm sure you could find one. Then Texturing is hard! finding tutorials for that is really hard. I myself am new at the texturing part, that's why the textures i'm working right now are pretty basic colored metals.

I think that 3ds max is better than blender. i tried blender once and couldn't figure out what the heck i was doing. 3ds max definately easier to use, especially for beginners....but of course it's expensive.

For .X export, you should download panda X exporter.

I realize there nothing better then redoing something over and over (practice) makes better LOL
