Adding none default Militia to a Planet (Capital Ships maybe?)

I have been trying to create my own map with a heavily Militia defended planet being the only access to the star in each system. But I can't get any of the ships i specified in the planet template to show up at the star when I load the map. I tried to model the template for the planet after the default templates for planets with militia but none of it seems to work. Now I tried loading one of the premade maps that comes with the game and all planets that aren't home planets are owned by a none existing player (in my case it was a 2 player map, so players 0,1 and all none home planets were owned by player 3) and I am woundering what that is about.

The idea for the map was to have 5 star systems with 2 starting players each and 2 star systems in the middle with resources. But to get to any other star system the players would have to get past a huge fleet on the only planet connecting to the star in the outer 5 systems, with the defenders including a capital ship. Any help on how to make this possible would be appreciated.

That was the first thing I tried to do in Galaxy Forge as well, and never been able to get it to work. You can change the galaxy.scenarioDef file in GameInfo to whatever templates you want Sins to use, but then it becomes a mod rather than a map.

I don't think the current version of Galaxy Forge knows how to do this, but the devs said the next version is going to be more complete.
