how do you capture space junk facilities?

what the title says. I'm playing the derelict map and theres these space junk spots that have a asteroid in it with a mining facility and I have no idea how to make use of them. It says they can be captured so how do you do that? a certain ship? tech? help please.

Colonizers (non-cap) or, if you're Vasari, the scout ship can do it. Which is a clever little race-difference that makes the early game interestingly different on many maps but frequently gets overlooked.

I haven't played that particular map, but I'd assume it's the same as how you capture other neutral structures - each faction has a ship that can do it:

Advent - Missionary Vessel (colony ship)
TEC - Protev Colony Frigate
Vasari - Jikara Navigator (scout)

Hope this does it; if not, hopefully someone who knows the specific map can chime in.
