hmmmm. i thought they stopped with DirectX 9.0c and continued to work on 10. Anyway i got no use for nine since i got 10 already

Hmmm, I went throught the Genuine Validation Check & got to the download page. Then click on download and end up at a Microsoft Page stating:

Make sure you are using MS IE6 or IE7. Won't work with other browsers.

got the same message when i used IE7, so instead i downloaded the directX redist march 2008 package.
