Missing parties

from Stardock Forums
Iam from England and I bought the game just last week, I have a problem though, I seem to be missing 3 "parties", Universalists, Industrialists, and Progressives. Should I have these as standard or do I "unlock" them somehow? :notsure:

Have you installed all the bonus packs & patches? There is a lot of extra stuff there(ships, events, techs). It's worth downloading.
And by the way, I don't know if all the parties made it to the release version of the game.
Maybe someone more informed than I can help you more?

You need to download the 1.03 patch through Stardock Central to get the Industrialist and Universialists. The progressive party isn't in the game anymore.

Going to sound a right baby, but I can't find the 1.03 patch on Stardock Central can anyone help?

You also have to put in your CD key into the SDC. Otherwise it will not show the updates to the GalCiv.

The updates are hidden in Software -> Drengin.net. I think Stardock might want to make SDC launch into that window if the program was downloaded through the GalCiv site so players aren't confused.
