Tracking a cap ship's EXP?

first of all, I feel obliged to say I've been playing sins since the day it was released (my friends and I bought 3 of the 4 copies my local Gamestop had and immediately started playing when we got back to our dorm), and I love Sins.  It's a great game, and the pacing makes it one of the few RTS I've played where I can actually play effectively and have fun playing against AIs on Hard.  Ironclad did a great job on this game and I can't wait to see what they're cooking up for 1.04 and beyond.

With that out of the way...  is there any way to see how much EXP a cap ship has, i.e. how close it is to leveling up?  I've been searching through the UI each of my past couple of games, and I just can't seem to find an EXP gauge anywhere...  am I just an idiot, or is there really no way to see a cap ships' EXP?  If there isn't, that seems to me to be a pretty big oversight.  I mean, it's not necessary, but I definitely would like to be able to see how fast my caps are going to hit the next level when I send them into combat against an enemy fleet, especially when they've got their cap ships leveled up and I don't.

If there's already a topic about this, sorry; I did a couple searches but couldn't find anything talking about this.

The current experience of any capital ship is listed right on its info card. It tells you how much experience the ship has and how much it needs to hit the next level. Also, info cards tell how much experience is gained from destroying that particular unit, listed as "experience value".

Yes you can, and no you are not an idiot. Te thing you need to know, is that the exp. tracking system is on the info card when you put you mouse over the pic of the capital ships, who's states you want to see. There a lot of info in those cards, and it is sometimes over looked, till you study what is in the cards. It normal found between the Shield Mitigation level and the Culture Repel Rate.

Right, thanks guys. I can't believe I missed it there, though it is tucked away in a fairly improbable place.
