[BUG?] 1.03 Advent Strikecraft

They are not targetting Pirate turrets

I seem to have encountered a bug in 1.03, but I wanted to post it here to see if anyone else has seen this, if it was just a fluke in my game, or whether there's a setting I accidentally changed.

I downloaded the 1.03 patch and started a game as the Advent.  Everything was going fine, but when I attacked a pirate base, my strikecraft do not target pirate Gauss defense platforms.  They will hunt down and destroy all ships in the star system, but I have to manually tell them to attack the Gauss turrets.

I thought they might just be bugged completely, but when a pirate raid started and new ships spawned, my strikecraft lept into action, hunted them down... but then just returned to my ships while they were taking a beating from the Gauss.

Has anyone else seen this, or can anyone else confirm?  I've only had to try this one game of 1.03.

NOTE: Defense platforms of all other AI players seemed to be fine, my strikecraft when after the as usual and blew them up. I only had a problem with the Pirate platforms.

I saw the same bug in 1.03. I played 1v3 hard AI locked team on a med map. Fought AI and got bored so I went to the Pirates HQ. The auto engage would not target pirate defense/planet, this was for all ships not just fighters.

Do you mean manual targeting? That worked. If you meant pinging for ally, the game was me vs 3 AI teamed plus pirates so that didn't apply there

Yes, this is a known issue where unit auto-targetting seems to ignore the pirate gauss turrets. By known I mean it's been reported to IC already :P

It's not specific to strike craft, all units should do it.
