Trading Bug: AI Offers Nothing for Enhanced Miniaturization

Playing ToA Beta 5, as a custom super breeder with the Terran tech tree and ship styles, I noticed what I think to be a trading bug.  When I tried to trade Enhanced Miniaturization to any of the AIs, both major and minor, they would not offer any money or influence points.  When I would click on them it should automatically calculate the maximum amount of money they are willing to offer.  The offer came in as 1BC but the trade was in the red state, I had to reduce the amount to 0BC for it to change to green; the result was the same with the influence points.  Some of the AIs had lots of money so it was not a case of them being broke.

I took a look at the XML Tech Tree file:

<Computing ID="Enhanced Miniaturization">
    <Group>Miniaturization</Group>
    <DisplayName>Enhanced Miniaturization</DisplayName>
    <Cost>600</Cost>
    <Description>This allows us to make even smaller components which lets us put even more on ships.</Description>
    <Details>A spokesperson for the Hygerion Technology Center had this to say on the new Miniaturization technology:||"Remember Miniaturization? It was pretty great wasn't it? I mean, with the making things smaller and stuff and junk. Well, Enhanced Miniaturization is like, you know, way, way better. The reason it's better is because it's enhanced. This is quite different from regular Miniaturization which is, as we all now know, not enhanced."||In related news, stock in Hygerion fell 25 points today in heavy trading...</Details>
    <Category>Miniaturization</Category>
    <MiniaturizationAbility>15</MiniaturizationAbility>
    <Requires>Basic Miniaturization</Requires>
    <Model>nanometal0</Model>
    <AIValue>26</AIValue>
    <WillingnessToTrade>50</WillingnessToTrade>
</Computing>

Most of the techs don't have an entry WillingnessToTrade and those that do all have a value of 50. Has anyone else seen weird trades?

I've noticed the bug with enhanced minitiurization too. The AI will never offer anything in return for it....not even 1BC.

I think they actually have negative value -- try adding them to an otherwise valid trade.

Reply back from Cari Begle, "Ah...it's the AI Value. It looks like 26 makes the AI undervalue the tech. I'll have to ask Brad about that."
