hi when i'm playing and I have produced alot of ships there is a point when i cant make any new ones it says you have reached your max crew capcity or somithin
when I go to the chart I can improve it but dont know how it asks you about points orsomething

you have to research a higher level of fleet supply points in one of the three research sectors

It's under the "Logistics" tab in the research menu. The top line of tech is the capital ship line, the bottom line is overall fleet capacity.

Also be warned that the higher levels of fleet cap have an upkeep cost - basically a tax on all your income.
