The E.E. (European Empire) Grows Stronger - But I have a solution

But, I have a solution. We (Americans) will simply bribe all of your former Soviet allies with econmoic and military starbases. Soon you will be the O.E.E. (Old European Empire). ;) ;)

Don't you mean European Alliance?

And whatever you bribe, we simple get back the next turn because we are vastly culturally superior to the United States (we go back more than 200 years) :p

Just wait until the game is available in retail shops in Europe. :)

I will concede that Europe is rich in culture and history. Does Belgium have it's own Culture?? I thought that it was just a crossroad between France and Germany. ;p

Pssst... not all Europeans are Russians, neither were they all allied to the Soviet Union... ;p

I know the English language can be tricky but "your" does not imply all of Europe was Russian. (Though without the USA it might have been.)

Oh my fingers are itching... The USA absolutely played a vital role in WW2, freeing Europe from the Germans. But don't push it saying the USA saved Europe from the Russians.

PS you're right, I didn't read your first post well enough.

I agree Europe played a significant role in it's own salvation. But without the USA ......well lets just say thank goodness for NATO and leave it at that.
Anyway, it is nice having a European perspective in this forum. I hope GalCiv sales go off the chart in Europe. What country are you from LordTheRon?? :)

Yeah let's leave it at that :)

I'm from The Netherlands, Surther. Bought the game online thru Drengin.net.

Sadly the game isn't available for retail in Europe (just saw a new newsitem about it on the frontpage). I do hope it's coming soon as it will be good for the GalCiv sales I think.

We've had to wait for games like Kohan and Disciples II way too long. By the time those games arrived (4 to 6 months later) a lot of community interest was already lost

Kohan is the best RTS I have ever played. I am really looking forward to their newest version. This was meant to be a tongue and cheek kind of string. So we don't need to have a America verses the world flamefest. After all this is only a game.

I know :)

Kohan was really good. I'm really looking forward to Rise of Nations though. That promises to be a very good in between RTS/TBS.

It matters not. They are just putting off being victims of the G.R.O.S.S. (Get Rid of
Slimy Aliens) empire.

Our Death Ray Zorchers and Transmogrifiers will handle them.

Surther, you should merge with us now while you still can....The alliance appears to be right on your doorstep just waiting to gobble you up. With our "protection" however.....

Oh sure.
You've got the 500 year dead artists and composers all over us, but what have you done for us lately? The Renault LeCar!!!! Kraftwork!!!! HEHE.

We've got our culture where it counts. All the low places baby.

Disneyland
KFC
Mickey D's
Levis
CocaCola
Nascar: Car racing where hitting other cars and swapping paint is encouraged. And the fist fights at the end aren't bad either.
WWF Wrestling.
Hollywood.

That's just to name a few. And don't forget, we brought you the number one cultural attraction of all time. Galciv. Ha!! That just about sums it up.
