Is there a treasury?

I can see my income and my expenditures, but where is the amount of money in my treasury? Is there such a concept? The manual states that "At -500 bc(billon credits) spending on planets stops". I presume that this it a treasury amount (I suppose the goverment sells bonds or something to acheive a deficit), and not a per turn income minus expenditures amount.

The little number in the bottom left corner above your population is how much cash you have on hand at any given point in time. If it is light yellow, that means you're spending more than you are making. If it is dark yellow, you're making more than you're spending.

Thanks for the reply. Not sure how I missed that. The word "treasury" is a bit hard to read, due to the color, but the documentation points it out.
