Recycle Bin

Hi all hope someone can help me with a small problem -- A while ago I mistakenly deleted the recycle bin icon from my desktop, on replacing it I noticed it no longer animates when its full or emptied it always shows on the desktop as empty although it contains stuff that has been deleted. Thanks in advance for any help.

don't know if it's the same in Vista...

on XP - right click desktop = properties = desktop tab = customize desktop == shows 2 icon, full/empty - are yours set to use the same icon? if so, click on one, click change icon - or click restore default....

right click go to personalization and then on top left you will see change dekstop icons and then check the recycle bin box and click ok should be restored

Hi Guys thanks for the fix, followed your tips now my recycle bin is back to normal. Sir Bichur and Redrumy3 you guys rule.
