sound schedule

I have lost my "standard schedule" sound theme when I installed some Vista looks on my XP and now I want it all back to XP default. Is there anyway I could copy the windows sound theme from my other computer to this one? Or do I have to do it all manually?

As far as I know, if you had Sound Packager on the other machine, you could simply create a package from the default sound scheme and then install it on using on the other machine using Sound Packager. Otherwise, you will have to look in the windows\media directory and manually copy the files over to your new machine and then apply them each one at a time to the appropriate events in using the Sounds applet in the COntrol Panel. If anyone else has any better ideas... please speak up!

If you installed a Vista Transformation pack you can expect more difficulties down the road.  Unfortunately it's just teh way it goes.

Being able to easily revert to system standards is one of teh great points about Stardock software.

One other option is to install Sound Packager and try out this XP (remix) sound pack: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=59&libid=69

I don't have any better ideas at this point.
