Windowblinds 6, for Vista.-- Where'd all the Windowblinds skins go? :(

Jeeze. I just spent 19 bucks on Windowblinds and I feel slightly jaded I spent that much for it because there are so few skins out there that are Vista Ready, and the ones for XP just don't work right with Vista because they look like crap with the seach bar.

Where in hell are all the skins that make Windowblinds Six "For Vista", worth the 19 dollars?! :(

I'am using mostly old windowblinds (2004 and earlier) with some new ones.  For me the old ones are the best made.  And I have vista and don't like see through menu's.  So I guess its up to what one likes.

Windowblinds is a skinning engine.  it applies skins that users have created.  That's what you bought.

Most of the available skins are for XP.  It's been around for years and that's what most people have.  As Vista becomes more popular you'll see more skins for it.

Having said that (and echoing some of the replies above), most XP skins will work well.  Significant development time went into making them as compatible as possible.

Lastly, you can always fire up Skin Studio and make your own skins.  That is how Wincustomize started out; hobbyists making and sharing.

If you need further help or have other questions there are plenty of folks available to help.

I use the older skins with Vista. I don't have any problems. Matter of fact I'm using a skin called Beacon right now even though I bought the Cosmos suite yesterday.

You didn't do your homework and now you are gonna blame Stardock? It's your own fault. I don't feel sorry for you at all.
