Strange hit on my firewall while posting replies here.

Anyone know what the heck this is, Just posted a few replies and such and looked at my firewall, and this was there:

The firewall has blocked Internet access to your computer (TCP Port 28995) from a class C broadcast address (200.149.223.255) (TCP Port 49146).

Never saw this type of hit on my wall before. I have been hit alot on my firewall tonight while on here.

Is there any means for someone to attempt a hack on you while you are posting? I mean can someone see you on here and attempt hacking? Or is this just random bs hitting me? :notsure:

I don't think it's common for random traffic to be using a port that high though?

Well, there is a funny thing about this forum that I find pretty interesting. I like the place and all that, I mean I visit a lot, but on my dialup, the bytes sent are usually far lower than my bytes received for normal web browsing. But, right now, I got 1954828 bytes received and 2034721 bytes sent. So, while accessing this forum, a lot of bytes are being sent from my computer than would be for normal browsing. Hmm. :notsure:

Interesting... now that you pointed it out, each reload of the forum results in roughly 100k traffic both in and out.

I noticed at school using icaclient(windows) on a linux that this page blinks which I believe could be something to do with the in-out bytes... ?

It may well be what is preventing you from submitting your scores. You may want to e-mail [email protected] and see if there are any settings that you can change to allow your scores to get through.
