Planet marks

This might have been asked before, but I couldn't find an answer in the manual/FAQ/Forum

When zooming out the map, some planets get yellow triangular marks on them. Some pointing outward and some inward. What are these marks?

Mouseover the planet to see the difference between it and other planets in the info panel.

Hashmarks mean that it's either that race's capital planet or a powerful artifact exists on it.

Two triangles on the side pointing outwards mean it's a homeworld.
A lone triangle pointing into the planet from the bottom (Or top-right for the infocard) with a quarter-circle in front of the arrow (Or outside of on the infocard) is a planet with an artifact on it.
