Excellent, now as for the Senate, Since there are only the four of us and we all have scores above 1000, I think the first criteria shall be a minimum score of 1000 to be a senator. Any other suggestions? I imagine as the Confederation grows the minimum requirements will rise.

Cool, I registered a new win tonight. I don't have the patience to milk a game untill my population is in the gazillions, so my scores will never be crazy high. I think you should be rewarded for quick decisive victories as well. Oh and Idleprocess I logged onto your site. It is way cool and better than anything I could have done..Senator Idleprocess.

That last win pushed us up to 17th..

As far as icons, I think - in the absence of a skilled graphics artist - simple is best and less can be more.

How about these for two options:
- a blue sky over a green field (basically two rectangles!)
- a yellow sun rising through a blue sky over a green field, similar to the Japanese battle flag

For added style, you can make it look like a flag rippling in the wind pretty easily.

Maybe something like this?

That looks good to me! I was trying to render a planet that had the midwest as the only super-continent. Unfortunetly at 20x20 it looked like a blue ball with a green dot on a black background.

And at G.R.O.S.S., a few semi-sentient tapeworms or bugs won't get in our way. You look like a perfect Candidate for G.R.O.S.S. Kiwi's are always welcome as are Australians and Midwestern types. These obsolete regionally based empires all have forgotton the important thing: It's all about Getting Rid Of Slimy Slugs (except for the ones you choose to enlave).

You know I can't submit old games that I started under version 1.2, but this new one I just finished submitted fine. Don't know if that helps Fearqus.

Stardock changed the scoring system to make it more "fair"; I'm not sure exactly what that means but it's almost definitely a good thing.

However, one thing it apparently means that what used to be about a 2000 on a medium map is now only a 700.

Stardock has some plan to redo all the scores that have been submitted to put everyone back on the same even keel.
