panel question

In Xp you can drag something into screens edge (folder for example) and new panel will be created there, im using skinstudio can anybody tell me if i can customize those panels style, force them to use a different backgrond etc and how?

The panels are "toolbars" and draw from the skin's toolbar settings. I don't believe you can change them individually, but I'll defer to one of the pros.
