NimbleMonkey:  I see scores from you for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.  It appears to be working.  Still looking.... Ok, their appears to be 2 games in particular you were submitting yesterday.  1 of those games showed up.  Once the game is submitted it will update the data for that game 1 time if it is resubmitted.  After that the game will not be accepted anymore.  The other game you were attempting to submit was originally submitted under the player name of 'Wormy'.  So when you attempted to resubmit the game under 'NimbleMonkey' it would not accept it because the game had already been submitted under a different player name.

jus4golf: You submitted the game under Treylis instead of Jus4Golf.  Please make sure you submit games under the same Player Name in which you have registered.

TheQuack: Sorry, we are not in the habbit of deleting games per players requests.  If we did this for one person then we would have thousands of people requesting that we delete their games.

I'm hoping you can get me working. I am logged in right now as "Atarex" with the e-mail of [email protected]

I have linked my registration code with this account through the website process.

I have submitted a lot of games and not a single one has ever shown up under "Atarex". Because of your firewall suggestions, I unplugged from the cable router and plugged my network card from my computer directly into the cable modem. I even chacked to see that I had a "real" IP address and everything.

I then submitted one game around 10:15 PM EDT and another around 10:30 PM EDT on June 5th. I've seen several people say the games are supposed to appear almost immediately. I don't see anything yet.

Oh yeah, I also requested my "info" from the automatic process to make sure I was using the same e-mail address and what not. Here is what I got in the e-mail...

jus4golf - I'm seeing all sorts of scores submitted for you over the past couple of days. (http://www.galciv.com/info.asp?accountID=665356) Looks like its working to me.

Atarex - I'm not seeing any data originating from you.  What version of GalCiv are you using?  There was a bug back around 1.02 that would not submit scores properly.  If you are using 1.02x then please upgrade and try again.

I submitted both of those scores last night with 1.04.59. One of them was even started and finished with that version only. I think I bought the game back when 1.02 patch was out and that was my first "update" to the game, but I've been updating the game on the same day or the very next day that every single patch has been released through SDC since owning it.

Any more suggestions? I'd really love to partake in the Metaverse at some point :notsure:

If you need a save game, the 1.04.59 game I have was a quick military victory, so its literally clicking on "next turn" ends the game.

I have tried to submit my first game a couple of times today, but it does not appear in the Metaverse. Is there a problem with me or the Metaverse?

I have submitted lots of games, never had a problem.
Any game I submitted today isnt showing up.

With the minor glitch with the recent scores, wondering

Ooops.  Looks like I created a bug this morning while trying to fix another one.  I am running the queue as I type so all your scores submitted today should show up shortly.

Actually I take that back.  Due to the bug your scores were most likely not saved to the queue and will need to be resubmitted.

Noticed a teeny tiny bug with the metaverse. I'm apparently ranked #25, but I dont have the top 25 medal. Seems to be only given to the top 24 or something. Like I said...very small bug

It is taking the scores but I show like 2000 from tye game screen for a score and only 300 on the Metaverse. I know that the metaverse alters the scores for rank but it usually shows what you actually scored in your profile. I submited two games one 4K+ and 0ne 2K+. They showed up as 500 and 300 and actually the last game lowered my overall score by a few points.

My submission has now taken and Metaverse shows my 3rd game added....but the last game was for 1132 pts (shown in my Metaverse game summary) however my total score is only 776?????.

Did Metaverse add things up wrong or is ther some calculation I don't know about?. Please help?.

It's OK someone has just explained to me that you take the total and divide by the numbers of wars??. So the 776 number will be correct......did I explain that right>>>?

I just tried resubmitting my military victory game with 1.04a.062. I don't see anything posted.

The funny thing is with this version, my metaverse score came up as 25,000 some points! Last night with 1.04.59 it was only like 2,300! ???? :notsure:

Between the ingame score and the metaverse there is a
little ^.75 modifer that will be applied, on the
metaverse your result will be 1988

Yes, the score I submitted was one I had originally submitted some time before: however, that score never showed up, and the resubmission was before I read this thread on the forum. Nevertheless the concern still stands as valid, as after *2* submissions the score does not show up on the high score list.

If I absolutely *must* register on Stardock under the same name as I give my "player name", I will attempt to do so. Why is that necessary? =^/ I find that kind of mindbogglingly baffling...
