Warning that theme is created with old version? Not upgradeable?

Occasionally I load some themes into StarDock LogonStudio v1.0.64 and tried to edit them.

Much to my surprise I got then a warning popup like the one shown in the link below

which tells me that this theme is created by an older version of LogonStudio and probably may destroy the old structure.

Thats odd: Older versions seems to have MORE features like the newest one. Can this be true?

 

Why is there no upgrade possibility (WITHOUT destroying some parts of the layout)?

Is there another software which can interprete and keep the old layout?

LS for XP has not been updated since 2004

not necessarily and 'upgrade' issue

s there another software which can interprete and keep the old layout?

are the logons from mid 2004 or earlier?

or have they been modified using a text editor?
