Expansion pack?

Does anyone know if there is going to be a expansion pack for sins of a solar empire?  If so what new content will be added?

There is going to be an expansion. There has been no formal press release/announcement, but Stardock and Ironclad both stated there will be one. The only thing we know about it is that it will feature an actual single player campaign of sorts.

That's incorrect, they never concretely stated this. They said they were toying with the idea, and that's it.
