Advert is the Best!!

the advert is the best because for 1 there ships are cheap 2 there ships have powerful abilities like taking over enemy ships 3 there ships are also powerful in weapontry like illuminators they do 18 damage with one laser but they have three so do the math 100 illum. * 18 damage * 3 lasers and you get the firepower.

Actually if I'm not mistaken the damage is split up, the front laser does 50% (so about 9 damage) and the side lasers do 25% each (so about 4.5 each). This means if you don't position it right it actually does less damage then the other LRFs.

I for my part like TAC and Vasuni more than Advert   

But back to topic. I have read a lot of threads with titles like "Advent overpowerd" or "Vasari RA too strong" and such stuff but for my part I think the game is well balanced. Advent may have pretty good ships which actually is okay since TEC simply can by more (due to better economy) and Vasari gets them for free (RA). So in my opinion it's a little shortsighted to state Advent are best simply because they have strong ships.

Which race is best? That depends on the size of the map you're playing, how many people are playing, exactly who those other people are, your familiarity with a given race, and your playing style.

I like advent b/c they have more shields, and their combat cruiser is very powerful. i wish their mothership had a nice ability like ion gun, but you can't have everything.

It's clear from your post that your observations are skewed. In no game would you have 100 illuminators without giving your opponent the ability to build anything he wanted. TO put it simply if you waited to have 100 illuminators to attack, you would die a terrible death at the hands of any race

I like the Vasari for their strong defense wise ships, phase stabilizers, and returning armada. I honestly just didn't get into the TEC and Advent.

I'm in the middle of a match playing as advent, just played as vasari (trying tot see who I like best). I just don't "get" the advent. I don't like their visual style (even though it's similar to vasari) and their tech trees are weird. They just seem too passive in general. Is there any diagrams of the research trees for all three factions or a guide just explaning the general focus of each tree?

Uh, really? Cool, then I'll try that at work   

And I just found out: THC actually is the abbreviation for "Thueringer Handball Club". So its more likely to be a new race than the name of the expansion set.

The Vasari & TEC are a really powerful race than the Advant, but i'm really good with the Advant so^^

Vasari i hate returning amada because it only gives you like 3,4 ships for like 10,000 credits worth of credits but i do like there phase stabliziers.Tec,there frigates are not that powerful,but there capital ships are sortof and i also like the refineries they get.

What make Returning Armada so good is when you have many planets all with phase stabilizers. You get a steady supply of ships from them so all you have to do is upgrade fleet size and you have the game in the bag!!

Plus it gives combat cruisers which seriously kick A!

The reason you may get 3-4 ships is either you only have one planet with stabilizer, or you're capped out on fleet size for you current upgrade.
