Space Ponies?

So every time I check my achievments I see the Space Ponies Achievment. Can anyone tell me what this is... or how to unlock it?

it's a random thing you find on planets, sometimes you get it when you colonize sometimes you have to search for it with explore planet. I've heard it's more common on pirate bases.

Or so I hear, I've never gotten it.

Well then, that's a bit useful, I kinda wish to know if it actually does antything now. Looks like the pirate bases in my current singleplayer match need to be dealt with finally in the hopes of finding one incase the pirate base rumor you speak of is true.

It doesn't do anything its just gives you a nice picture of a literal pony in space in the achievement section. Its a joke back in the beta I think about the Vasari Enemy. Its all for fun enjoy it when you get it but don't worry about it.
