Oh, crash is always bad, BAD CRASH ! Just wondering, do you have themem Manager installed? Here is a link for downlaod and also it will explain everything you need to know about using the suites here. Hope it helps you...Theme Manager controls other programs. It will prompt you to download programs it needs to install so it can apply a given theme.

Your best bet would be to look for the individual components instead of a full suite, which are less prevelent.

sAdom38 : are you reading the comments people are leaving you?

You should check the galleries on the main page of Wincustomize.

Suite are done for Vista and XP, or XP, or Vista (but simply for Vista at 100%, notsure it was done)

Talking about Arileen Suite the following components are Vista compatibles and ready:

_CursorXP (using cursorFX)
_DX theme (with color changer)
_Widget (with color changer)
_Gadget (with color changer)
_Objectbar
_Iconpackage
_Sysmetrix
_Screensaver
_Wallpapers
_WB with:
*XP substyle (with 7 colors presets)
*XP with toolbar buttons fully skinned substyle (with 7 colors presets)
*Vista substyle (with 7 colors presets)
*Sidebar Skin

_ObjectDock backgrounds
_RightClick (2 skins)
_Rainlendar (2 skins)
_Soundpackage
_LogonStudio Vista
_Xion (2 skins)
_ObjectDock icons
_Misc icons

the two following components are not compatible with Vista
_Bootskin
_LogonXP

Read the descriptions help a lot (or even the read me files ..... i'm  remember writing one in each folders)

You might try the blind out first before dl'ing the full suite,as Bebi suggested.

I've used plenty of the suites and WindowBlinds with Vista, with and without the "Vista Ready" tag.Except for a few unskinned elements,or lack of live folders in IP,I've never run into any problems. Do watch the dates. Some older blinds(03 and earlier) can look/act weird, but won't hurt anything.P.S.Arileen is a good one to try,it's very complete, looks great, and is one of the newer ones.

I dont know if you know this or not yet but the only thing that really matters for vista or non vista is the skin. Half the time a xp skin will work on vista. That is from personal experience though. Icons matter too but that is just for live forlders and a couple other icons for things that are not in vista. There are suits that are for vista as the obove have said and I hope that this info helps!

They all work on Vista, most will not look very good at all unless specifically designed and skinned for Vista

Wincustomize Download Guide

objectdock background are usually zipped in a .zip so after downloaded them you need to unzip them in this folder:
C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\Backgrounds\
If it's a .dockzip then double click on it ObjectDock will unzip it automaticly in the objectdock gallery

Do you have ObjectDock installed in your PC?
https://www.stardock.com/products/objectdock/

If no, you need to have the program installed before using the Skins

If you have it installed so you should read this:
http://wiki.wincustomize.com/wiki/ObjectDock:_Changing_the_Background_Theme

It will explain you how to change the (so use) background you downloaded.

To know what is what and need which software when you download them from here you should read this one:
Wincustomize Download Guide

Launch ObjectDock, create a background, then right click on it select properties on the background then in tab on the left click on Tabs and Styles or Styles and on the dropdown menu select the background you just unzip
