I just downloaded v1.05 and when I try to run it, it says that it "is not a valid Win32 application". What does this mean and what do I need to do to fix my problem?

That error code means a corrupted or packet loss download/install. Only thing that can be done is uninstall, restart, redownload/install, restart again to clear the cache. After that you should be all set.

Yes, I tried reinstalling as mentioned above but it made no difference. I had the same problem with the previous download version as well.

If you continue to get bad downloads of the standalone patch, you can also try updating the game using Impulse.
